The PHILIPPINES: Pearl of the Orient Seas

The Philippines has 7,107 islands as of last count, but the islands are grouped into three main island groups: Luzon (north of the Philippines), Visayas (central Philippines) and Mindanao (south of the Philippines).  The capital is Manila, which is part of the Luzon island.  Being the capital city, most domestic and international flights are from and to Manila.
